The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a  measurable impact on youth.
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, war-time veterans organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is a community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members, men and women, in nearly 15,000 American Legion posts worldwide.
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
As defined by the National Cancer Institute, the mission of UCLA´s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center is twofold:

To remain dedicated to innovation and excellence in interdisciplinary research and training. NCI-designated cancer centers are charged with moving basic research discoveries into the clinical setting to reduce cancer incidence and mortality and to improve detection, diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

To serve as a community resource to sponsor and conduct informational and educational activities, thus providing a resource to both health care professionals and lay people. In addition, the cancer centers implement outreach programs linking communities to the research activities and clinical services of the center.
Organización Haz la Diferencia's ("Make a Difference") Mission is to provide educational and charitable assistance to children living in orphanages and children's homes, both nationally and internationally.
Anaheim Fire: To provide excellent fire, rescue and emergency medical services to all those who live, work and play in the City of Anaheim, so that the amount of fires, deaths, injuries and property damage is minimized.
The Irvine Police Association is dedicated to uniting all persons within its jurisdiction for their economic, professional, and social advancement. It shall be the aim of the Association to secure for all members adequate compensation for the performance of their professional duties and to improve conditions of employment through collective labor activities; and to promote, foster and encourage the welfare of the social relationship of the Irvine Police Department; and through community service projects, develop a better relationship between the police and the community.
Never underestimate the Power of Giving.  Your generosity has turned Perini Green Weekend into one of Las Vegas’ most successful fundraisers.  What started out as a small group of people playing a few rounds of golf for charity, has turned into a weekend extravaganza.  In three years Perini Green Weekend has donated over $175,000 to local charities, which includes over $70,000 from the 2007 event.
The mission of The Shade Tree is: To provide safe shelter to homeless and abused women and children in crisis and to offer life-changing services promoting stability, dignity, and self-reliance.
Teach for America: Our mission is to build the movement to eliminate educational inequity by enlisting our nation's most promising future leaders in the effort.
The goal of the Rebel Athletic Fund is to provide unrestricted funding to support the operation of the 17 NCAA sport programs sponsored by the institution. UNLV relies on the support of individuals within the Las Vegas and university community to provide a first rate student-athlete experience. In turn, the success of UNLV athletics offers a sense of pride to the campus community, serves as a rallying point for our students, faculty/staff and fans, and provides the institution with national exposure to help bring the best possible students to UNLV.
